Join Our Team 🫂

If you're interested in exploring what it means to "be human”, meeting new people, building your portfolio, and gaining experience in running an online publication, consider joining Humankind Zine’s team. Our team is open to those with and without experience. Humankind Zine was built off of a team of volunteers who just wanted to try something new and had almost zero experience before starting. As long as you are passionate about our mission and willing to learn, that’s all you need.

If you’re applying for more than one position, your responses can be identical – we’ll decide which role fits you best. If you don't see a role that fits you, pitch it to us! Email humankindzine@gmail.com with any specific questions or concerns you might have. Please note these roles are REMOTE and UNPAID/VOLUNTEER POSITIONS.

If you just meant to submit pieces for an upcoming issue, you’ll find that information on the submission guidelines.

As of July 9th, 2023, we are accepting applications on a rolling basis. Any application deadlines will be announced on our Instagram.
